Laura is from the United States where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2009. She is a specialist in neurological rehab and has extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation including orthopaedic, multi-trauma, chronic pain, sport related injuries, and various post-operative conditions in the adult population. Since relocating to the UK in 2016, she has experience in the NHS, private hospitals, and charity work in London, with special interest in complex conditions involving both MSK and neuro impairments.
Laura also has a clinical interest in Women’s Health and has completed postgraduate training in pre and post natal care.
She offers personalised treatment for all her patients in achieving their goals including manual therapy, soft tissue/myofascial release, clinical acupuncture, pilates-based exercises for low back and core stabilisation, taping, and appropriate strengthening/stretching, and proprioceptive home exercise programmes.
Outside of work, she enjoys running both half and full marathons, having good wine with a cheese board, and spending time with family at Greenwich Park.
